Surch Foods is a food industry B2B marketplace for suppliers of packaging, ingredients and products to list their products where retail and foodservice buyers as well as manufacturing sourcing and procurement can find them. I worked in retail product development for a number of years and it was difficult to find suppliers. Moving over into R&D, it was just as difficult to find suppliers of ingredients and packaging that you can't produce without. On a daily basis I saw the need for Surch and so started building it. Its surprising how the industry still works with the "I know a guy" as their sourcing strategy! As I've been growing my network I've come across a lot of consultants. They find work by word of mouth. So we created a network for consultants/advisors/coaches/mentors and service providers to list a profile stating the services they can offer.
